NYC or California?

So as an elf makeup lover, when these stunning palettes appeared glittering away in all their glory on my emails I just had to buy! I don't think I even hesitated, just 'click' done!

There are two stunning palettes;

NYC; Has the perfect evening/night shades. Great rich colours to create a perfect smoky eye or a subtle gold shimmer! The palette consists of a mauve pink, Peachy bronze, pearly cream, light gold, subtle silver, a rich black, chocolatey brown, shimmer charcoal, a dark browny black and a deep but vivid blue. (Unfortunately they don't have names for the colours so apologies for the bad descriptions :p)

California; has the more natural approach. Warm colours for that perfect summer glow (hence the name California). This palette consists of; a beige cream, a reddish bronze, a pinky beige, a golden bronze, a taupe bronze, a dark silvery grey, a pale taupe, a rich gold, a golden brown and a lilac/mauve.

All the baked eye shadows are highly pigmented, you really only need a small amount to create a lovely colour, but you can build and blend to create some lovely shades.
I am saving these for my holidays as they are the perfect size to just pop into my bag.
